Bearington Bears: The Perfect Gift for the Young & Young at Heart   by Irene Emerson

There’s nothing I love more than seeing the look on my granddaughter’s face when she clutches her favorite toy, which just so happens to be a Bearington Bear that I gave her for her birthday last year. As soon as I gave her the gift, she became attached. She thinks of the bear as a friend rather than a toy, and I think that’s adorable.

While I’m nowhere near young enough to play with Teddy Bears, I have always been young at heart and loved the way they look and feel. I’ve been collecting Bearington Bears for years, and she has always loved coming to my house to play with them. So, I decided it was time to start her on her own collection of Bearington Bears. I bought her the first one for her birthday last year, and since then, she has used her allowance money to buy several others. Since she has collected so many over the past year, I decided to do something a little different for her birthday this year.

I went to Krafty Kats Curiosity Shop, my favorite site to buy Bearington Bears, and started looking around. I found the adorable Bearington Baby collection and immediately fell in love with it! The collection features soft, cuddly plush animals that I knew my granddaughter would love. I decided to get her a stuffed kitten from the Bearington Baby collection. It was perfect: Plush White fur with an adorable pink nose and a silk ribbon. It was cute, girly and cuddly– just like my granddaughter.

I told her mother about the gift I gave her, and she thought it was such a great idea that she decided to get her something from the Baby Bearington collection too.

When I gave my granddaughter her gift, she was so excited. She pulled it out of the box and held it close. She named her new kitten “Annabelle” and they instantly became Best Friends. She told me that she wanted to use all of her money to buy new friends for Annabelle.
Her mother was thrilled that she was so excited about her new present, and was even more excited to give her the gift that she picked out.
